Dec 7th Law Firm Management Atlanta Party

invite

Ale & I will be in Atlanta for business unrelated to How To MANAGE A Small Law Firm, during the first week of December. So we’ve decided to stay over an extra day to have a law firm management party on December 7th from 10am – about 4pm.

That’s where we get together and have a good time doing some laser coaching to help you find and fix the most important challenges you’re having today with the management, marketing, sales and financial control of your law firm.

  • Where you may be trying to build the machine, but perhaps you’ve been assembling the parts in the wrong order?
  • What you may be holding onto that’s holding-you-back, like an anchor?
  • Whose agenda has REALLY been dictating the growth and direction of your law firm?
  • When will your firm finally give you a life that more closely approximates the life you believe you are meant to be living?
  • Why do so many otherwise great lawyers get stuck for so many years?
  • How can you break-free from all this junk and step-into being who you know you need to be, in order to have the kind of law firm you want to have?

I expect you will walk away with practical, tangible, actionable-steps you can take to have a better law firm and a better life in 2013.

If you attended our most recent Live Quarterly Meeting and were there for the “Saturday Night Unplugged” session then you got a glimpse of what’s in-store for Atlanta. If you missed-it, then this is your chance to get a taste of what everyone has been talking about.

Where: Location in Atlanta’s Buckhead Area to be announced.
When: December 7, 2012 (10am-4pm)
Dress: Casual (we’ll be wearing jeans)
What To Bring: A pad to take plenty of notes.

Cost: Gratis. This is our gift to you.

Guests: You are welcome and encouraged to bring as many guests as you like.

You may wish to use this opportunity as a sort of “litmus test” for the lawyers you hang-around with.

We all know plenty of lawyers who go-around saying to anyone who will listen, how much they want to improve their law firm.

So let’s say you send an email to that lawyer like this:

“Hey friend, I have great news I want to share with you! You know how I’ve been making all these improvements to my business because of How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm?

Well, they’re having a law firm management party and I get to invite a few guests who are serious about improving their law firm.

So I want to share this opportunity with YOU!

Just go to www.HowToMANAGEaSmallLawFirm.com/AtlantaParty to RSVP and give them my name. It’s even free!”

And suppose your friend fails to take action on this generous invitation you’re going to share with them.
Of course they’re not going to admit the truth.

Instead, they’re going to come up with every excuse in the book. As if YOU don’t have a busy schedule, a hectic business and a demanding life too. But the difference is you have a vision for your future. They don’t. And you’re committed to do whatever it takes to make that happen. They’re not.

Now, we don’t have to go saying bad things about those lawyers.
But we do have to be mindful of who we associate with and whose subtle ideas, opinions and values we are going to be influenced by.

So consider this a dual opportunity:

  • First, to have a great experience where you’ll learn a lot and leave with a plan of action to make a tangible improvement in your life; and
  • Second, to pause and take inventory of who you’ve been hanging around with –vs- who you might profit from limiting your exposure to, in the year ahead.

Now here’s my word of warning…referral sources. You might want to consider NOT inviting a lawyer who is a great referral source for you. Unless you’re really sure he or she is truly committed-enough to attend. And under no circumstances should you remind anyone twice.

I know this means we may have fewer lawyers in the room for our party. But I don’t want you to alienate a referral source whose actions may demonstrate something about his or her commitment and/or their character that it would be better for your business if they did not know you have found out about them.

We look forward to seeing you and any guests who accept your invitation,

Yes, we have plans to organize a few more of these parties around the Country during 2013. Next one is likely to be in Phoenix in February.
